It took me a long time. When it comes to certain fads, it usually does.
I finally took the plunge (mainly due to the unrelenting appeals of a co-worker who is an expert pinner) and joined the cult of Pinterest.
Clearly, I was not living life to the fullest.
OH MY GEE… I love this:

This is my board. Feel free to add me, my name is really just my name which is ‘Lillian Hergott.’ I am so creative.
Pinterest is really quite addicting for people that like pretty things, enjoy style, baking, decorating, sewing baby outfits, and plan to have an unlimited budget for special things, like vacations, weddings, and parties.
Since I often sew baby clothes and have millions of dollars, I am now an avid pinner.
But, what is the point of pinning all these recipes, ideas, outfits, etc. if you never ever actually do anything?
Well, it is just a waste of time. And I hate the thought of wasting time. So, I tested out one of the recipes I found on Pinterest and am going to share it with you.
These are super tasty.
These are super easy to make.
These are super tasty.
(did I mention that already?)
Hershey Pretzel Hugs!
All you need are three things:
- 1 bag of hershey hugs or rolos (you can use whatever kind of kisses you want… I like white chocolate because dark chocolate taste like mud to me)
- 1 bag of ‘window’ pretzels (they look like windows-duh!)
- wax paper
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350°.
Step 2. Undress all the hershey hugs so they are foil-free.
Step 3. On a baking sheet, lay down wax paper. Place a pretzel with a hershey hug on top. See below image if you are at all confused:
Step 5: Bake for like 2 MINUTES ONLY. Watch them carefully, you just want to melt them enough so you can press a pretzel into them. Don’t melt the little things.
Step 6: After you press a pretzel on top, put somewhere cold (a fridge? an igloo?) for an hour or two to let the chocolate harden.
Step 7: EAT THEM IN FRONT OF YOUR FAMILY AND MAKE THEM JEALOUS.
(I’m kidding. Don’t do that. Let them eat the broken ones.)
Thank you, Pinterest, for making this recipe possible.
